The Witches of Eastwick

Celebrating it's 7th year, Centrestage cast and musicians ran four performances of The Witches of Eastwick Musical. Originally this musical opened in London's West End in 2000 with music composed by Dana P. Rowe , directed by Eric Schaeffer and produced by Cameron Mackintosh. Also this was the first show that Centrestage put on seven years ago.

It was my pleasure to witness the great cast and hear Dana P. Rowe's great musical score at first hand on Wednesday night during the full costume and tech rehearsal and I think I was sweating just as much as the cast (well not quite) just to keep up with their high energy performance. Although this was a rehearsal, the cast certainly weren't holding back and it was a real treat to try and capture the show.

Photos don't do Centrestage performances justice as you really have to see them in the flesh to appreciate their hard work and dedication to giving a great show.

There's lots to keep you entertained throughout the year so check out what's coming up here http://www.centrestagemusictheatre.co.uk/shows and choose a show or two to suit your diary. You won't be disappointed. Also remember there's the licenced cafe bar for great food and refreshments.

I have to mention Stardust Make Up Artistry for the superb job on hair and make up on this show. Check them out on Facebook.

Here are a few of the many shots I took during the rehearsal performance.
