Starlight Express at Centrestage - Make up and costume shoot
I've been dying to get some proper studio shots of the team at Centrestage for some time as often images of the cast, when I shoot them on stage, just don't do justice to the amazing costumes and make up.
I arranged to bring my portable studio setup along to the set and tied in with Suzi Cooper from Stardust Make Up Artistry to do a run through of the make up. Suzi and her team do a great job and the make up looked brilliant along with the costumes. You can also follow Suzi and her team on Twitter
Lynne Kenmuir did a great job getting the excited cast into order and we were able to wrap the shoot in 1 1/2 hours. Not bad for 29 individual portraits and a few group shots.
The set is amazing, bringing a faithful representation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's London blockbuster to my home town with rail tracks through the audience and in the roof space of the auditorium. It's just amazing what the Centrestage team do. Nothing is impossible.
Ryan took my images and made them into a brilliant poster of the whole cast which looks great.
I loved doing the shoot and appreciate the help from Lynne, Ryan and Fiona and also the Crew for letting me set up the studio in their busy floor space.
The cast look amazing and my thanks also to them for being great sports and natural posers!
